Hi,
I’m Diana
My personal journey is probably similar to yours and it’s what’s brought me to this point.
I get you.
I’ve been there.
When I was in my mid-fifties, I started to feel like I was fading, almost like I was becoming invisible. I wasn’t sleeping well, I didn’t have any energy, I was gaining weight and I didn’t have the spring in my step OR the desire to do much of anything. I felt like I looked older that I should and was worried that this was going to be what the rest of my life was going to be like – invisible.
Old, fat and wrinkled, not longer valued at work and with unsatisfying personal relationships. My posture changed, my body changed and I didn’t like the changes that were happening. I decided to go to see my physician, thinking there had to be something physically wrong with me. After a thorough exam I was told there was nothing wrong with me, it was just part of the aging process.
How depressing!!
I knew this wasn’t true because my fitness coach told me my metabolism was so low that she was surprised I was awake and walking around.
Shortly after I happened upon a woman in her 80’s celebrating her birthday at a local restaurant. I saw her vibrancy. She was laughing and everyone around her was so engaged and enjoying her wit and her company.
I wanted to be that woman. I wanted to age like that. I didn’t want to be like a faded Hollywood star chasing youth. I wanted to write my own story on my own terms. I wanted to be like Meryl Streep or Helen Mirren. These woman have aged in their industry – one that relies on looks and they have kept working on their terms. They’ve aged beautifully… not gotten old.
I am fortunate that 30 years of medical experience as a pharmacist has given me access to new and exciting innovations in the medical field.
I believe in holistic methods and in treating the body as naturally as possible.
I believe movement should be fun and exciting. My love of Argentine Tango gives me ways to experiment and it celebrates my drive to live life fully and with joy.
Women come to me who are feeling invisible and have lost confidence in themselves or no longer feel sexy. An Ageless Life was created to help women who are having similar challenges that I faced.
Our work together shows women how to enjoy life no matter their age. Remember age is just a number, it is how you live your life that counts.
Welcome!
I understand. I’ve also looked in the mirror and felt old.
Was this going to be my fate? My life?
It wasn’t supposed to be this way! I wanted to be the vibrant and lively woman that I saw at a local restaurant celebrating her 80th birthday. She was surrounded by people who enjoyed her company, her wit, and her laughter. I wanted that!
I wanted to age with vitality and grace, like Meryl Streep and Helen Mirren.
As a clinical pharmacist with over 35 years of experience and a tango instructor for over a decade, I created “An Ageless Life.” It’s designed to help women overcome the same challenges I faced. Age is just a number, it’s how you live your life that counts.
