My personal journey is probably similar to yours and it’s what’s brought me to this point.
Rewriting Midlife on My Own Terms
One day I caught my reflection in a store window. And there it was. The careful way I was walking. The energy of someone who had given in. For a moment, I was looking at my mother. But it was me.
Here’s what that moment actually cost me, and it wasn’t about the mirror. It was the 3am wakeups. The meetings where I ran on fumes. The focus I could no longer schedule around. I was doing some of the best work of my life, and my body had stopped showing up for it.
Something had to change.
I went to my doctor, hoping for answers. She said there was nothing wrong with me. I was just getting old. Get used to it. Stop trying to be young.
Just get used to it. Was this it? A slow decline into invisibility?
Absolutely not.
I love my mom but I didn’t want to be her.
I had something most women don’t: 40 years as a clinical pharmacist and two decades teaching Argentine tango. I know how the body and brain evolve with age, from the pharmacology to the dance floor. So I did what I’d spent my career doing: I translated the science into practice, and I rebuilt.
Not back to who I was at 30. Forward, to a body that could run my work, my life, and my next twenty years.
What I built from that is An Ageless Life: brain-based movement, nervous-system retraining, and a clinical pharmacist’s lens, for women who run things and refuse to spend the next twenty years managing decline.
Aging isn’t about fighting time. It’s about the wisdom, strength, and opportunities that come with it. You know more. You know what you want. What matters is clearer. You have more to work with than you ever did at 30.
